Dates & Rates for 09/10 School Year

Ready, Set, Aleph Bet: Kindergarten-2nd grade:

Tuesdays, 3:30-5:30

$900.00 per school year

This program is designed to open the soul of a young child and inspire a lifelong love of Judaism. By introducing the alphabet early, and using a fully integrated arts curriculum, our students are reading by second grade.

 Chai Five: Grades 2-6

Tues, 3:30-5:30 and Thursdays, 3:30-5:30

$1200.00 per school year

Our award winning curriculum includes the Aleph Champ reading fluency program, modeled on the martial arts motivational system, where children improve their Hebrew skills in small groups so they can progress in individualized programs. Dynamic staff, brought in from around the world, Chabad style spirit and warmth, and studies in Kaballah and text, instills both knowledge of Judaism and an inner sense of pride.

Students in grade six will participate in a new program, entitled:  "Bar/Bat Mitzvah Training."  One day each week will be dedicated to preparing boys and girls for this special life cycle event.  In addition to preparation for the event itself, emphasis will be placed on the meaning of this transition, the sanctity of Mitzvahs, our belief in G-d and the journey of the soul.

 Mitzvah Corps: Grade 7

Thursdays, 3:30-5:30

$950.00 per school year

This innovative program for graduating students combines an intensive Jewish History course with weekly outings to volunteer throughout the community. Our students work with underprivileged kids, seniors, and volunteer at food pantries and soup kitchens. Graduating students travel to the Washington Holocaust Museum at the end of the year. Mitzvah Corps students also study Hebrew and work on their reading fluency.
